Appointments
I feel like I've been waiting rooms forever, and non that are fun. 1st yesterday a 20 minute wait in our hospital's waiting room which has a gift shop in the room, so my son is all over that wanting the candy and toys and stickers errr mothers nightmare and somewhere I will avoid at our next appt, and instead head to the caffeteria for an apple or something while waiting.. Then you

Then like yesterday you get into the testing area, my son had a hearing test, and that was great Dr. right there and so nice and omg my zacy did so well and so big and was so cute and nurses all said he's so good anyways proud mom but results weren't so good, so schedules another appt with family physcian who we go see this morning at 11. Wait, wait wait some more,
I always like how the nurse comes to get you and takes you to this little room for like another hour it seems, but at least out in the main waiting room there is TV's and books to read and toys this room is small and nothing for fun specially for 2 kids because my daughter came along as I had no babysitter. So after a bit the Dr comes in and he's so nice and does his little tests and gets out the picture books to explain stuff and says now onto the next step, a specialist... and asap cuz of the fluid on his ears, so sqeezing us in tomorrow afternoon in wtrtwn which is little drive yet i guess sopose to snow... errr so if we don't make it sopose to call back up to our local clinic for anitibiotics OMG.. crazy so call specialist and thank god same place I used to Dr with him so all his charts and there and current and talked with his baby Dr whom i so loved yet retired and filling in, but explains all these other Dr's and steps that will be taken after this apt. tomorrow..
I am going to have to make up some kind of travel along bag for waiting rooms for kids, now in a half hour I have an appt at the school for a speech class which i'll be taking him to 3 days a week, but going to have to find some kinda of babysitting for my daugher I am going to have to ask my friend that does daycare I guess.
Onto the cause no one knows anything for sure yet, sopose that's why the different tests and Dr's. His left ear flat lined on the one test the other ear shows some damage, yet his nerves hear or something and could be fluid in the middle ear, and he's just used to living with it cuz sometimes Dr said usually painful, yet he never says it is and still today no, but some kids just don' tknow or something I don't get everything it's almost too much at one sitting to understand sopose it'll soak in, I'm so looking forward to our appt. in wtrtwn as I have always loved that clinic and all the Dr's there have been great and specializing in that we might find some answers, tubes in the ears??? to take pressure off, yet still not sure that's what's causing it. I don't get it I will have to write down all my concerns tonight so I don't forget what to ask tomorrow.
Hearing test the Dr said, imagine sticking your fingers in your ears and have one ear drum not even moving and listen... muffles noises you'd hear and nothing clear, and that makes me sad to think that's why he probably doesn't speak as well or clear at all, cuz he can hardly hear clearly at all himself, and I just can't wait to fix it so he can hear right and I can imagine it would open up a whole new world of sounds to him ;) I'm just sad there wasn't more I could've done b4 ...
I sopose gotta get to the next appt... and I work 2nite it's kinda shitty out in town here to drive around hope it doesn't snow more. K bye
DONE CLOSE IT UP
