I have made about 40 of the snowflakes I started a few weeks ago now but I have just crocheted them, and will have to sit down soon and startch and stretch them I sopose soon. My cousins came over yesterday with some fuzzy baby clouds yarn and wanted me to make them scarfs. They are seniors in high school, really pretty yarn, kinda hard to work with but I have one 1/2 done and the other started I'll take pictures when I get them done I sopose that will be next week, now that I have to work the next 4 days I doubt I'll have much time. Still it's been nice being able to sit and crochet again!
Yeah I have been back in the mood to crochet... I still pull out the barbie wedding gown I started last winter and work on that from time to time but other than that nothing really.. but with christmas up and coming and I've been in the movie week I started making snowflakes again .
I have both crochet pattern books 99 snowflakes and 101 snowflakes... So I've made most the 101 ones.. but I got the 99 book last year. So I started 2nite.. I'm on snowflake number 17 :) It will be fun to make them all
I am still working on the Premie burial dress I started last week. It's so small and so pretty. I only have the arms left and the bonnet. You can view click here I started the dress durning a movie thinking it would be nice to make something that is really needed!
Havn't posted in a while. I have been pretty busy and not much time for anything. i havn't even gotten in on any exchanges this year but hope to start again next month. I am still crocheting away on the barbie wedding dress the overskirt is almost completly done and looks to be one of the longest parts of the dress. Or more so I'm feeling that way its taking me so long.
I brought out all the squares I've received from the Granny square exchange and started putting the boarder around them. I'm using black to connect them and rows of 6. I have enough squares already for 3 rows.
I havn't started of finished anything new for quite sometime now. Just not enough time in the day or night to get everything I'd like to get done. When I do get free time I've just been keeping the barbie wedding dress handy and will work a few rounds on her over-coat. I think it will be beautiful when I am done. My daughter who is three thinks it's a wedding dress for her. I wish.. I think it would be absolutly beautiful and wonderful to crochet an entire wedding gown.. WOW lots of time... I told her maybe when she gets married I'll give you the barbie with the dress.. that is if I ever get it done by then.. LOL Oh yeah I'm sure. :)
No time to crochet over the holidays but a few rows on the wedding dress I'm making in thread... will write more and add pictures in January! MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
